Are there 2A activists in Minnesota?

The sad reality is that when the professional 2A crowd says stuff like,

The surge in gun ownership and concealed carry in some of Minnesota’s most liberal areas appears to be real, but how many of the thousands of folks who are exercising their Second Amendment rights are willing to fight for them remains to be seen.

They seem to forget that very few life long gun owners are actual 2A activists. So how likely are new gun owners to become active 2A supporters? Especially if they have liberal beliefs?

And the odds of anti 2A bills passing in St. Paul this session I fear is very likely. After all it’s an election year. Dems have got to prove their worth to their constituents. And Republicants will be over joyed if they can campaign on, “Vote Republican so we can repeal the gun control laws the Dems just passed!”

The thing we should really be keeping an eye on is state pre-emption. It’s the only thing holding back tyrannical city clowncils, such as Edina’s. .
