Just some odds and ends about the NSSF.
The following was sent to me by someone on X. Now why does the 2A industry want the ATF to have a larger budget?

After reading the above, why does the 2A industry want the ATF to have an “IT infrastructure” at all? How does this benefit them? ATF and it’s “IT infrastructure” are a direct infringement on the Second Amendment. History proves government lists never end well. And if the 2A industry just wants to sell their products and make money, again, why do they want ATF to have more funding, and be a road block in their efforts to sell products to customers?
The following is something David Codrea of waronguns.com sent to me,
First off, if someone can’t be trusted with his most basic of natural rights, the right to defend himself, why’s he allowed in public? Why isn’t he in prison? Or a mental institution? Or under the care of a custodian? The idea that someone who can’t be trusted with arms, should be allowed in public, as long as he’s placed on a “prohibited persons list” so he “can’t” have arms and “won’t” be a danger is laughably absurd. And why is this the official position of the 2A industry?
Second, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, in case anyone forgot, here’s a refresher. The gun lobby should be actively fighting this “law”, not taking money, and praising it.
Sometime back, I did a post about the gun lobby and their DEI & rainbow flag “outreach”. DEI and sex crap is wrong when the liberals and Dems do it. And it’s wrong when “we” do it. Has the gun lobby ever considered how these people vote and whether they’re activists or exercisers?
Also what about programs like ‘Data Hunter‘ and ‘Cyber Safe‘? And just who is the gun lobby? Who’s on their board of governors? How did some of these people get in the hall of fame? And why do they want to fix NICS as opposed to destroy it? Finally why does Larry try to snow people about who pays taxes? And just why did Larry block me?
All this should make clear to everyone, that the industry, and that means gun, ammo, scope, etc, manufacturers the works, hate you. This industry is no different than any other industry. They hate liberty and freedom and their customers.
That statement will no doubt ruffle some feathers. If it ruffles yours, then ask yourself, why aren’t these corporations changing NSSF’s policies from being anti 2A, to pro 2A? And why were there ever any anti 2A policies in the first place?
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
