NRA IN Danger has some interesting news, and if you look in the comments section, things get very interesting here. If you read the alleged email from Mr. Hamlin, it appears things are in dire straits. That’s how companies talk, pre-bankruptcy.
In President Bachenberg’s latest column here, did you see any mention of furloughs? I didn’t. But this stood out,
Among other things, these include forming a Strategic Advisory Committee (SAC) to evaluate the NRA’s operating structure, programs, funding methods and communications; holding monthly informal virtual meetings with the board, as three meetings a year are insufficient to achieve our mission; and creating a Skunk Works-type group to develop cutting-edge solutions for new membership acquisition programs, improve member communications, enhance large donor engagement and leverage information technology for the good of the entire association.
While I’m always doubtful about creating a new committee when there’s dozens already in existence, and seventy-six directors and one hundred and ten non director committee members, (remember the Fortune 100 board of directors average is just twelve directors), what’s this “Skunk Works” group? Skunk Works is a top secret military industrial complex program dealing in aviation. Why does “NRA 2.0” need a top secret group or committee? Unless of course it “needs” to be top secret because that group would be dealing with the furloughs… NRA 2.0 wouldn’t want a mass panic or mutiny on their ship that they’re “righting”. (Mr. Hamlin’s nautical terms, “righting the ship”…)
Also, Bachenberg agreed to a settlement in which he’ll pay $500,000. A man whose check book is suddenly $500,000 lighter and has a history of not paying his own bills isn’t the sort of man I’d pick to run a non-profit corporation.
Then while I was looking for that townhall that was mentioned in the comments section of NRA IN DANGER found this on X,
Was this the townhall that was mentioned? I don’t know. I can’t find anything on NRA’s clunky website. Nor on their Youtube channel.

Now,
I’m not sending NRA money. They’ve been Negotiating Rights Away for 91 years. They’ve been abusing members dues/donations since the 1990’s at least. And this “NRA 2.0” is not showing any signs of change. They’ve blown it in the Virginia state elections. They refuse to use their “influence” to lobby President Trump to do pro 2A executive actions. The NRA’s just a distraction and is siphoning time and money away from well meaning but gullible gun owners, which could be better spent on other 2A groups and causes.
Let Mr. Hamlin’s ship sink so we can refocus on our actual cause which should be, defending and strengthening the Second Amendment.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.

NRA IN DANGER has an email from Mr. Hamlin. “Difficult decisions”, “reorganization”, “furloughs”, yeah, sounds very “in the black” now doesn’t it? /sarc.
