NRA had a webinar last night. I’d missed Codrea’s earlier heads up on it. I double checked NRA’s X feed, and never saw mention of it. Never saw mention of it in my Nov. ’25 ‘America’s 1st Freedom’ either.
Why the lack of promotion? I even checked the link that Codrea posted. It doesn’t look like there’s any way to see a re-run of it either. Why? Wouldn’t a re-run be helpful?
Obviously gun owner apathy is real. But I think the mere 37 in attendance is due to such dismal promotion. And also, it can’t be overlooked the effect of the NRA’s corruption scandals, and that people are learning of their 91 years of negotiating rights away has had, it’s made many gun owners gun shy about getting involved with other 2A groups as well, not just NRA.
I don’t know how to cure the apathy problem. But, my focus is on my state association. Right now I’m behind enemy lines. And MN Gun Owners Caucus is doing good work. I think our focus should be on state groups, unless or until, some national group gets its act together.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
