NRA Townhall Or Crummy Commercial?

Finally, they made it available, before they didn’t know, https://2awhiterook.com/nra-evp-ceo-hamlins-townhall/ and Mark Shuell didn’t want us to see, https://2awhiterook.com/former-nra-bod-candidate-speaks-out/ which they posted, at about 12noon on Saturday, 6-28-25, despite it being conducted on Thursday evening.

Nothing we haven’t heard before. Just a bunch of prag propaganda, and a crummy commercial.

Remember, “No malfeasance on my watch.” Doug Hamlin.

Bachenberg, “We support NRA Foundation.” How? Director Jeff Knox has said no money is exchanged, and NRA HQ has no oversight of the Foundation. And, yet Tom King’s still chairman, and he’s suing Oliver North, using Bill Brewer’s law firm. I wonder how King’s paying for a law firm which charges over $1000 per hour, some say as much as $1400 per hour. Has anyone examined the books, to see he’s not using NRA Foundation funds or other NRA funds or NYSRPA(of which King is president) funds to fund his personal legal bills?

Bachenberg says “Board works directly for members.” and “So if members have problems, they should bring them to the board and the board’s going to react.” And “A lot of states have board members which you can contact.”

But how do members contact the board? The member to director email system is non-functional, and hasn’t been functional for four or five years, if ever. How does membership contact the Board?…

Bachenberg, “Of the 76 board members we have, there’s 111 non board members this year that are on these committees.” So much for downsizing the board.

As David Codrea’s asked, https://www.ammoland.com/2025/06/nra-townhall-to-give-members-chance-to-question-ceo-hamlin/ How can Doug Hamlin be a EVP/CEO? There’s no CEO provision in the bylaws. So how is Hamlin both an executive vice president (which is in accordance per the bylaws), but how can he also be a chief executive officer? Wayne LaPierre was also a EVP/CEO. Strange, I’ve never heard anyone else raise that point, not even the “reformers”. It’s vital membership gets an answer. And membership did not get an answer to that, with this townhall. If the board can so flagrantly violate the bylaws regarding leadership positions, what else can they do?

The prags are still firmly in charge at NRA.
