Culture clash. This is exactly why we must end, or at the very least severely restrict immigration. The immigrants are not assimilating, they’re not becoming American culturally. If we, as a society, keep flooding America with immigrants who don’t assimilate, where’s that leave the Second Amendment? We already have more than enough native born American opponents to the 2nd Amendment to deal with, so why must we be “single issue”?
This “single issue” idea, which it seems all the major “2A” groups support is a fools errand. While we of course must remain focused on the Second Amendment, we also must look at anything that can affect it, such as immigration.
There’s been “outreach” as some would call it to immigrant groups. Why is GOA spending money on a X account that’s mostly in Spanish?…
How many people who can’t speak and read English even know what the Second Amendment is? How many support the traditional American idea of an an armed citizenry, AKA Militia? And how many share the traditional American hatred of a government monopoly on violence? Zero.
Back to the article at the top, if a man, in this case an immigrant, has such perverse view points on child rape, and he subsequently becomes a university policy fellow, then what’s his goal? How will he effect young minds in the university system? You may be thinking this is an “extreme case” or an “exception”. But is it? If we’re fighting so hard, in politics, the courts, the media, for our cause, why do we continue to import people whom absolutely refuse to become American? And why do “2A” groups either pander to immigrants or totally ignore the massive numbers of legal immigrants coming in? We all know that when given ballots, immigrants vote in near total unison for Marxists. So why do we, as 2A supporters, refuse to bring up the immigration problem, and demand an end to immigration, or that it be extremely restricted?
Is “America 1st” just a mere slogan that has no meaning? Is the idea of “America for Americans” viewed as too “controversial”? Ask yourself, how much longer will we have an America, if we continue being silent on immigration?
