I’ve been out sick. Otherwise I’d have gotten to this sooner.
Last Monday, April 27th, I got the following email from MN Gun Owners Caucus,
I’ve been looking on their website, to see whatever came of this, and can find no mention of it. There hasn’t been any follow up email either. I’ve even looked them up on Twitter, and this is the only Tweet from them I can find regarding this hearing, and it mirrors their email.
So what happened? This is an attempt at constructive criticism. We can’t all be tuned in to 2A matters, every minute of the day. We depend on 2A groups to help keep us informed and fight for us. A follow up email, informing members/donors of the outcome, and likewise an update to their “what’s happening” webpage isn’t asking much. And where there’s a worrisome email, and a lack of follow up, some cynical gun owners may believe it was simply an attempt at a fear mongering donation drive, rather than there having been a real threat.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
