St. Paul Motion To Dismiss Pre Emption Suit Denied

Castro’s ruling means the Caucus’s lawsuit can go forward, but it’s a pretty big signal that St. Paul is going to lose on the merits if the city continues to defend the ordinance instead of repealing it.

This is a bit of good news. However, I must wonder why I’m finding out about it many days late, and only by browsing Bearing Arms? After all I’m a member of the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus and am on their email list. I double checked my email, the last two emails I’ve gotten from them have been about a “Post Session Happy Hour”, not about this legal ruling.

I see from the article, MN Gun Owners had done a tweet about it, which is fine. But, not everyone’s on Twitter. And even though I’m on Twitter, and follow them, I don’t see their tweets much, and obviously not this one. The big tech oligarchs censor 2A content. I’ve tried to suggest to MN Gun Owners, that they do more direct emailing to members in the past when news items arise, as opposed to relying on Twitter or the chance a 2A media outlet may pick up on their tweet. My suggestion hasn’t gone over well. And why not? Emailing doesn’t cost them anything, not even time, just take five minutes to write two paragraphs for something such as this ruling and press send.

If we don’t talk to each other, we won’t win.

Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
