If you want to get off easy for attempting to murder your son, there’s a Minnesota judge who will accommodate you. The current Dept. Of Correction’s boss’s ex-wife attempted to murder their son. She gets a 3 year prison term, but the catch is, under Minnesota law, one only has to do 2/3 of their time behind bars.
A few things come to mind. First, she needs to be in prison the rest of her natural life. She deserves no mercy.
Second, is since she’s so demonic, what’s that say about the Dept. Of Corrections boss Paul Schnell, her ex husband? Are we to believe she never showed signs of evil before the attempted murder? What’s it say about the doctor who was prescribing her Lorazepam?
Third, does our culture value life? As a whole, certainly not.
People are always so surprised when something “crazy” happens. They shouldn’t be. Our culture’s been going down hill for over a century. None of this should be shocking, it’s been happening since the Woodrow Wilson administration.
And since this is a 2A blog, I have to find a way to tie this into 2A. That’s not too hard. Why did the Second Amendment take such a beating, in the races this week in, Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, and the red flag law ballot measure in Maine? Because of our cultural rot. And of course the decades of flooding America with foreigners whom do not assimilate and do not cherish American liberty and an armed citizenry, only dilute the political power of those of us whom are paying attention and are politically active.
Too many of us are not staying informed and not speaking up and not taking action.
There are consequences for not acting… Such as cultural rot and citizen disarmament.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
