Hard to believe but Merle Haggard was “America First” a decade before Trump ever was. He asks, “Why don’t we liberate, these United States? We’re the ones need it the worst.” Good question. I guess AIPAC came calling.
Now if Trump gets us involved in another war in the Middle East, https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-hints-regime-change-iran-while-declaring-make-iran-great-again-after-us-strikes the GOP can kiss the mid terms good bye. And the Second Amendment, well there won’t be any more progress on that for a long time. The American people don’t want more wars. That’s a huge reason why Trump and the GOP won last November. America can’t pay for another war, we don’t have the blood, nor the treasure, nor does it concern us.

If the Jews and the Muslims over there want to have a war, let them. Let’s get the hell out and deal with our own problems. Remember, if the political focus is on war, it sure won’t be on defending and strengthening the Second Amendment and making it a first class right, or fixing our crumbling infrastructure, or fixing our economy so families can afford to have the mom stay home with the kids while dad works ONE decent job for decent pay with decent hours, or shrinking the size of government- the size of government always balloons with a war.
America, how many of your young men, and it’s appalling that we have women in combat roles, but, how many of your young men and women are you willing to kill and for what?
