DOJ lawyers are arguing machine guns aren’t covered by the Second Amendment. But why? I thought the Attorney General was pro gun… Or so we were told, and appointed by a pro gun President… Or so we were told.

And he brings up a good point, where are the 2A groups? I just looked (evening of Saturday, May 10th) at the websites for GOA, SAF, NRA, NAGR, and FPC. The only one I could find that mentioned ANYTHING about the above case, is FPC, https://www.firearmspolicy.org/fpc-statement-on-horrifically-flawed-doj-brief-in-machine-gun-ban-prosecution. Yet where’s there any mention of FPC doing anything? Lobbying Trump to get DOJ to change course? And do we really what a “czar”, some government paper pusher who’s loyal to only whoever’s president to be a “czar” in charge of advancing 2A rights? Instead of a “czar” they should be lobbying Trump to do what David Codrea’s been calling for, to add outside 2A representatives to the Second Amendment Task Force, people from 2A groups, 2A lawyers/scholars, and number crunchers like John Lott.
Is the “right”, whatever that is these days truly so emotionally invested in Trump, that they refuse to even consider that Trump, or people in his administration may be wrong on certain things?
The Militia must have access to machine guns.
