Tampon Tim signed it, and it’s bipartisan, whatever that means, I can’t tell the difference between the state GOP and the state Dems anymore.

As I’ve said before, this even though state law, would appear to violate our preemption law…

But regardless of the “legal” issues, it’s the Second Amendment issue which is most worrisome. The more or less southern half of the state is shotgun only during the states firearms deer season, while the northern half allows rifles.
By giving counties in the shotgun zone, the “authority” to decide what firearm(s) can be used, sets a troubling precedent. And no, I don’t like the “precedent” obsession the 2A groups all cling to when arguing their cases in court, I like the “text, history and tradition” angle better. But, everything builds. So, with St. Paul doing this now, what comes tomorrow? Will a county try to regulate arms in some other way, that doesn’t involve deer hunting? Will St. Paul give counties the “authority” to regulate arms for another reason or any reason?
There should be no shotgun only zone period. St. Paul should’ve just made the whole state a “firearms zone”, including rifles, as opposed to leaving it up the southern counties to decide. This could be very dangerous… Most especially now, after the recent murder and the attempted murder of Democrat legislators. Tampon Tim’s a maniac. And he will come after the Minnesota Militia. And he wants to live in the White House too. America, beware of this man… Oops, I don’t want to “misgender: or use the “wrong pro nouns”… I should’ve said this maniacal, tampon loving, sissy. There, now that sounds accurate.
