Was I wrong to question why Bill Bachenberg’s sons were given NRA committee assignments? For reference, https://2awhiterook.com/how-many-bachenbergs-on-nra-bod/
Apparently some think I’m wrong to question it. As “they’re giving value to the NRA”… So says one NRA director. What is this “value” anyway? And… “They’re certainly not getting away with something because they get their expenses reimbursed which I bet they’re not.” I’m not sure how to interpret that sentence. Should I even bother to email him back?
The NRA looks rotten, worse than Congress. In about a decade it went from one of the most beloved institutions in the Second Amendment sphere to the most hated… Most hated by Second Amendment supporters, the American Militia at that. And now I’m wrong to question how the new NRA president’s decision to give two committee assignments each to his own two sons, looks bad? Looks like nepotism? Even if there’s nothing nefarious here, doesn’t it look bad? I’m not aloud to say what I think? I remember not that long ago, people were howling about Wayne LaPierre’s wife, being on the NRA’s Womens Leadership Forum. Yet Bachenberg’s sons get a pass? I’m just calling balls and strikes. It looks bad.
And, in case NRA’s forgotten, I’m an NRA life member. I have the right, and the obligation to ask questions, to voice concerns, to make observations and state my opinions. The NRA works for me, and currently 3million others. If the “political pragmatists” at the NRA don’t like that… Then they can take an aspirin. Or report me for “abuse” to Sec. Frazer as Lucid Optics CEO and NRA director Jason Wilson did, https://2awhiterook.com/nra-director-accuses-me-of-abuse/
Here’s the email, from NRA director Dennis Fusaro,

Should I bother to “advise”? Wait, how can I “advise” the NRA’s member to director email system still does not work?… And I’m the bad guy?
