The most I’ve gotten is a bizarre runaround from someone who shall remain unnamed, telling me, in essence, to go look up New York non profit law. This unnamed individual it should be noted is in a place where they ought to know, or be able to find out whether NRA or it’s entities are paying for this. And the NRA has a less than stellar history of following non profit law… Remember the NY AG Leticia James suing NRA? That didn’t end well for Wayne LaPierre or Woody Phillips and some others.
Also Tom King’s still chairman of the NRA Foundation, which ran afoul of Washington D.C. non profit law, and even settled with the D.C. attorney general.
So clearly non profit law is meaningless to NRA and its entities, until they’re being sued by an attorney general.
Why can’t the NRA give us some transparency? Surely the NRA isn’t paying an anti 2A Democrat mega donor lawyer, AGAIN…
But don’t worry everyone, this is NRA 2.0 at it’s finest.
