First, why? Tom King lost in his re-election for a director’s seat, why’s he have a committee assignment?
Why did someone ‘s embroiled in lengthy allegations, a nasty lawsuit- who’s hired Bill Brewer, who was and still is chairman of the NRA Foundation when they made their settlement with the Washington D.C. I’ve emailed Tom King, and other NRA officials repeatedly, and can get no answer as to whether or not NRA or any NRA entity is paying Tom King’s legal bills. In back channel discussions I’ve been told by two people, they “don’t know” if NRA or a sub entity is paying his legal bills.
If Brewer lost every case for NRA, and was paid, somewhere between $200million and $400million (numbers vary by source) for those losses over roughly a 6 year period, and that money nearly made the NRA insolvent, how does Tom King have the money to pay Bill Brewer? And if Tom King is the hero behind the Bruen decision he likes us all believe he is, a staunch Second Amendment supporter, then why did he personally hire a rabid anti 2A nut and Democrat mega donor to represent him?
