The Second Amendment Foundation paid firms co-owned by Alan Gottlieb $912,049 in 2024 according to their 2024 990. And SAF’s 2024 contains inaccuracies, particularly Schedule L Part IV, which omits $539,676.
Below looking at Section B on page 8 (independent contractors), we see two firms, Service Bureau Cooperative Inc, which received $539,676 and Merril Associates which received $309,373.
Neither firm is listed on Washington Secretary Of State’s business registry. However there’s a Merril Mail Marketing Inc listed, and The Service Bureau Association listed. Merril Associates is the firm Alan Gottlieb pled guilty to tax fraud charges for. In that article, they say it’s his, “political fund-raising firm”.
Below we see the Schedule L Part IV. There’s neither a Service Bureau Cooperative Inc, nor The Service Bureau Association listed. Unofficial sources list “Alan Gottlibb” as owner of SBC, with same address as SBA and SAF.
The Liberty Park is listed as having received $63,000, is no doubt Liberty Park Press Inc, which has as governors, Alan Gottlieb, Andrew Gottlieb and Julianne Versnel.
In summation,
The Service Bureau Association has as governors Julianne Versnel, Alan M. Gottlieb and Massad Ayoob.
Liberty Park Press, Inc has as governors Alan Gottlieb, Andrew Gottlieb and Julianne Versnel.
Merril Mail Marketing, Inc has as governors Alan Gottlieb and Julianne Versnel.
All three firms have the same address, which is the same as SAF.
Therefore I’m confident in stating the following,
Firms co-owned by Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, were paid by SAF a minimum of $912,049 in 2024.
And due to SAF’s 2024 990, Section B on page 8, (independent contractors) lists Service Bureau Cooperative Inc as having received $539,676 from SAF, then as Schedule L Part IV of same document omits that information, SAF’s 2024 990 is missing a minimum of $539,676 in “business transactions involving interested persons”, and said firm is owned by Julianne Versnel, Alan Gottlieb and Massad Ayoob.
