John Petrolino on NRA vs NRA Foundation interview with Gun Owners Radio.
As you may have heard, the National Rifle Association, chartered in New York state, is suing the National Rifle Association Foundation, chartered in Washington D.C. Both are headquartered at the NRA HQ building in Fairfax, Virginia.
Two things stood out to me with the interview.
The first being just how careful they are talking about NRA and NRA Foundation.
Another is, they said the NRA Foundation has two employees, which are in fact NRA employees… And yet several NRA directors tell us there’s a “wall” between the two organizations. And the host brings up a good point at 1hr 8min to 1hr 10min about Mister Hamlin’s statement about how the lawsuit doesn’t effect employees, yet NRA has two employees working for the NRA Foundation.
On a related note, Tom King still hasn’t replied to my email.
Complexity favors the well connected. And 2A groups generally, and NRA especially, are extremely complicated.
