Mayday, Mayday, Black Hawk Down!

Mayday, mayday, Black Hawk Down!… No this isn’t 1993 Mogadishu. And no, this Black Hawk wasn’t downed by enemy fire neither. This national guard Black Hawk, landed, on private property in Montana, so your loyal soldiers of the Montana National Guard could steal elk sheds.

Trespassing charges? And surrendering the sheds to a game warden? Is that all? How about a court martial too while we’re at it. And how low must they have been flying so they could see the sheds from the air?

What would you do, if you saw soldiers, land a chopper on your land and go traipsing about? Would you be alarmed? What would’ve happened if the rancher defended his land from these invaders? After all, these are soldiers, so, that would make it a an invasion, not mere trespassing wouldn’t it? Would they have turned it into a Ruby Ridge or Waco? But with soldiers instead of para military feds?
