This is an excellent piece, and may God prepare us for what is about to come, indeed. The pot will boil over at some point. Be both smart and prepared. And keep praying.
Of Codrea’s list, one I’ve been doing, and will continue to do is share links, share information. 2A as a whole, must be better at doing that. One thing in particular I’ve been focusing on as of late is to not just post a comment/link generally on platforms, but to post a reply to people directly, and offer a different point of view, or some information they may have missed and a link. It can be tedious and dull, and not everyone is receptive, but if each of us can wake someone up and give them something to really think about and chew on, then we’re making progress.
Another thing is state groups. Things are pretty bad here in Minnesota, and MN Gun Owners Caucus has been doing a pretty good job at fighting the anti’s. I’m not able to be a truly active member and give them my time but I do give them money and try to spread the word online. The national groups, unless I’ve missed something haven’t gotten involved here. If you live in Minnesota, give MN Gun Owners Caucus a look. But wherever you live, you should be tuned into local issues. If there’s a group that’s worthy in your area, join.
Another thing locally I try to do is vote in judicial elections. Each election I make an attempt to find information on judges records and vote accordingly. For most sitting judges and their challengers it’s tough to find anything on, but, we need to all make an effort. And why not? Does anyone believe justice has been happening in court rooms? Also look up your district attorney, or here they’re called county attorneys record and vote accordingly. We can’t just stay focused on governors and mayors. Yes, they’re important, but so are our courts. Sheriffs get over looked too and it’s the sheriffs who control the jails.
Knowledge is only power if you use it.
