The other day in the mail, I received the May 2025 issue of ‘America’s 1st Freedom’. On page 45, there’s a small blurb, entitled, “I Have This Old Gun Event Postponed”.
It states that the “planned gun evaluations and potential filming” that was supposed to take place at the 2025 NRA Annual Meeting going on right now, in Atlanta, is canceled. It further states, “the event will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the 2026 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Houston, Texas.”
Why? No explanation was given.
Could it be the NRA was nervous about members asking inconvenient questions about the National Firearms Museum “losing” firearms? Or the potential deterioration of firearms on display?
I’ll try to get answers.
