David Codrea of waronguns.com has a new piece out, that’s worth a read.
The most important point he raises is “friendly fire”. This “friendly fire” hurts us in court, it hurts us both in terms of the manpower and the finances it takes to fight the “good guys” and the bad at the same time. It disincentives gunowners from the political process. It hurts our cause in every way.
The GOP is going to lose the midterms. There’s no maybe involved, it will lose. There’s lots of reasons, the whole Epstein cover up, is the biggest. Even in this perverted modern age we’re living in, the majority of people still find child molestation revolting. Further, when the president of the United States tells people whom are concerned about the Israeli child sex slave and blackmail ring, the very ring in which Epstein’s the leader of (he’s not dead), for the president to say, it’s a “hoax”, and then it’s “bullshit”, and then to tell his supporters that he doesn’t need nor want their support if they believe in “Democrat lies”…
When one has the opportunity to stop evil, and instead covers for it, that is evil.
There’s more reasons, the never ending support of Israel and their genocide in Gaza, the never ending support of Zionism here at home, the worsening economy, skyrocketing debt and inflation, the “regime change” in Venezuela, proxy war with Russia in Ukraine and seizing their tankers on the high seas, and his mad desire to now conquer polar bears and penguins in Greenland and of course the Zionist’s dream to conquer Iran, and the Charlie Kirk assassination cover up, it just goes on and on, and don’t forget 2A.
For American gunowners specifically, what’s done for 2A? Codrea’s right, Trump’s done some good stuff. Yet for every one good thing, he’s done three or four bad things. And what’s the GOP done as a whole? Even less. Remember HPA and SHORT? They eliminated the $200 ransom, yet, kept the registration requirement. And no, GOP Senate Leader John Thune did not have to listen to the Senate Parliamentarian’s “advice”. All the Parliamentarian can do is offer “advice”. Government lists never end well.
And charging Maduro, a foreign leader, with the un-Constitutional “machinegun” possession garbage just further illustrates… How can I say it politely? It’s worse than merely “bi-polar” on 2A.
Someone will say Trump and the Republicants can’t do much cause the Republicant’s don’t have a super-majority in the Senate. That’s true to a degree, but there’s plenty Trump can legally do without CONgress.
Those idea’s mostly came from Codrea and his writings, but some are my own. But the point is, there’s things Trump can legally do to support 2A without Congress, and he’s chosen not to. Also, the question must be raised, why have the national 2A groups chosen not to use all the “influence” they claim to have with the administration and get him to give the various orders?
What all of the above will lead to is a repeat of 2006.
What can we do? Get serious about the primaries. And refuse to support candidates with dual loyalties. Don’t forget your sherrif’s races, your county boards, city clowncils, your district attorneys and judges- especially state supreme court judges if you can vote for them in your state. Your local races can act as a buffer to the oncoming anti 2A wave. A good sheriff will prove to be invaluable. If you find a good candidate, spread the word to vote for them in the primaries. Share links. If you have a good state or local 2A group, join them. The fight to defend and strengthen the Second Amendment has become local.
We’ve got to prepare for 2028, and now’s the time to start.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
