I read a disturbing thing on David Codrea’s blog here, https://waronguns.com/glockteasers/
Since the Glock 17 Gen. 5 is the most reliable gun, I’ve ever seen, and I have a great fondness for, that made this all the more difficult to read, and see the video of.
It leads me to wonder, where was Glock? No company representative? No lawyer from the company? Nothing? And, it appears only Sam Paredes was there, from GOA and California state affiliates, to testify against banning Glocks.
Why not put on a united front? GOA, along with SAF, FPC, NGAR, and the NRA, along with Glock representatives… Now that would’ve made an impressive showing, to counter the long line of women wearing identical anti gun group shirts.
Does Glock not care about civilian sales? Are they only interested in government sales? One would think if a company’s threatened with the potential of their products being banned in a state, they’d show up to the hearing.
P.S.
On a related note, Mr. Codrea’s post, links to the LAPD’s approved duty pistol list. Interesting to note what’s not approved… The pistol which seems to fire by itself, the SIG P320.
Ben Stoeger posted an interesting video about the SIG P320, it appears SIG’s edited the manual for the P320 and now recommends not to carry it with a round in the chamber.
As for me, I won’t buy anything made by Sig.
