Glock is anti Second Amendment,
To be fair a lot of 2A companies are, or were under past ownership, just look at the leaders of NSSF, of which Glock is one, https://2awhiterook.com/glock-catalog-update-nssf-leadership-interesting-people/ and https://2awhiterook.com/nssf-hall-of-fame-notable-names-connections/ but this is awful blatant. This has shades of Bill Ruger devising and lobbying for a magazine capacity limit in the late ’80s and early ’90s, which morphed into the Assault Weapon Ban.
Why is Glock doing it? Jared in the video raises a few possibilities, personally I think it’s most likely Glock’s trying to suck up to “the only ones”, especially now that Sig’s self firing P320 is dying quickly, especially with police departments dropping them like flies. But in the end, the why doesn’t matter. This is anti Second Amendment.
Now the real question is, are those of us who like Glocks, (I’m one), be principled enough to boycott Glock, and go on X and things and give Glock hell? Or will we just quietly keep on shooting, carrying, and buying new Glocks when we want, and have blinders on to this 2A treachery? Personally, that’s going to be tough for me to do, I’m honest enough to admit that. Will I quit using and sell the Glocks I have? No way. But will I buy another down the line if they don’t at the very least reverse course and apologize? We shall see if my three readers, (me, myself and I) can hold me to this boycott.
