Chore Boy Pads?

When I read “Chore Boy pads”, I was completely confused till after I read the link.

Suppressors don’t interest me. I’ve never used one. And I have no intention to start. But Codrea brings up a good point, why “self report”? Anyone who can even take the most cursory glance at history will see that when governments start compiling lists with names, it never ends well. And on top of that, I’ve seen a number of ads and posts on X and other sites where everyone’s excited for the end of the $200 ransom on suppressors, SBR’s, SBS’s and AOW’s. But ask yourself, which was the bigger danger? The $200 or your name being added to another government list? And ask yourself, why didn’t “the most pro gun president in history” and his party eliminate the list when they eliminated the $200 ransom?

And the other thing is, as we saw recently in the ’25 Virginia elections, gun owners just don’t care to be involved. All of the articles Codrea wrote and the posting I did on other sites and this clunky blog, and guess what? Nobody cared. The national 2A groups didn’t care either. Not even the NRA who’s headquartered in the now Democratic Peoples Republic Of Virginia cared, despite one of their directors who came up with a serious get out the vote plan.

How do we, as a demographic become active? I do not know. Perhaps it will be like too many other instances in our history, where Americans just don’t give a damn till it’s a day late and a dollar short.
