Blind Worship Of Law Enforcement By NRA

Why the blind worship of “law enforcement” by the NRA? To be fair there seems to be a general worship of “law enforcement” amongst the 2A movement, but why?

As I said in my message, who’ll come to our doors to try to confiscate our arms? That seems to be a thought that doesn’t occur to many. Perhaps I’m just more cynical than most, but I’m skeptical of anyone with power. A badge is a lot of power. Especially when it comes with the backing of the police chief or department boss of some three letter federal agency, and a local, state or federal prosecutor, etc, etc.

And what is “law enforcement”? That question never seems to be asked. Just what is it? How did “peace officer” and “policeman” become “law enforcement”? And what is “law and order”? Would NRA and others still worship “law enforcement” if that very “law enforcement” from a very likely future Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger and her Attorney General Jay Jones decide to order Virginia state police (oops I meant “law enforcement”) to raid NRA HQ in Fairfax, VA, confiscate ALL arms and arrest the entire NRA leadership and its employees and charge them all with a future law along the lines of “The only armed bodies which shall exist are those formally sanctioned, funded and armed by the commonwealth and local governments. All violators shall be considered domestic terrorists.”?

What would NRA think of “law enforcement” then? You must back the blue, right? After all, isn’t that what cops are for, “law enforcement”? And they were just enforcing the law. NRA can’t argue that, in this very real hypothetical scenario. You heard Doug Hamlin NRA’s EVP himself say “NRA stands with law enforcement. Without law enforcement, we don’t have law and order.” So the NRA would only get what it asked for… LAW AND ORDER.

Some may think that hypothetical scenario is outlandish, and that “law enforcement” would never do that. But think again. Who enforced the Scamdemic shutdowns? Who arrested and sent to AMERICAN GULAGS, citizens who peacefully protested on January 6th, 2021? Don’t tell me it was the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.

Other’s may be thinking that no “law” could ever be written. Think again, the Virginia state elections are just a couple weeks away, and NRA has failed to approve of NRA director Dennis Fusaro’s plan to conduct serious and targeted get out the vote efforts. And where’s President Trump? If you say he endorsed Winsome Sears for governor, spare me. That was as ham fisted of an “endorsement” as they come. Why no rallies? It would be very easy transporting the President of the United States to the state of Virginia, compared to flying him all around the world or flying him up to New York City for a UN meeting. So don’t tell me it’s too difficult, or too dangerous. We’ve all seen what kind of attention and the tens of thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands of people who’ll come to a Trump rally. Where’s Trump been all this time? Only a couple of weeks before the election does he offer a kinda sorta maybe endorsement of Winsome Sears? And all that begs another question, why is David Codrea the only one reporting on Virginia’s election and NRA’s and Trump’s inaction?

In ‘Tall In The Saddle’ (1944), Duke asks Gabby Hayes what he has against law and order, and Hayes replies, “Depends on who’s dishin’ it out.”

Has the NRA ever wondered about that?

Just as my three readers (me, myself and I), are fallible, so is “law enforcement”. If we as a society don’t maintain a healthy skepticism of those in authority, bad things are bound to happen… (ATF? FBI? Waco? Ruby Ridge?)

Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
