Why? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyEUK29K5s0 This concept never made sense to me. Mutate a single stack 1911 .45ACP into a double stack 9mm? What could go wrong? Ben Stoeger likes 2011’s, but not the Prodigy. He likes the ones that cost $5,000 or more.
Some work sure. But the ones that do work will cost you an arm and a leg and your first born. Why bother? Yeah, I know, I was complaining about Glock’s corporate management before, but… Their guns work. There’s others, S&W M&P 2.0 sounds solid. I dislike them immensely but Beretta’s seem to work, especially the 92. CZ pistols seem to work too, especially their CZ75. Get where I’m going? There’s countless 9mm’s out there, hammer fired, and striker fired, steel or aluminum or polymer framed, double action or single action, cocked and locked or decocker, or striker with or without a thumb safety, that all work.
Just avoid the “fully” semi automatic Sig P320… Unless of course you like the idea of a self firing pistol ventilating your leg… Allegedly.
