Today I got an email from the gun store I go to. It said that beginning January 1st, all Form 4’s will be handled by appointment only, and it offered a way to schedule an appointment in the email. It said they’re doing this due to their expectations of increased demand when the $200 “tax” stamp is lifted.
Yet my question is, if the “tax” is lifted, then why does one need to do all the paper work for a mother may I slip? Oh right, because Republicants neutered HPA and SHORT down to a meaningless nothing, as the main issue was the extra government list one gets put on, and the money (ransom) was secondary. That’s what we get for electing the “most pro 2A president in history”. And where were all the national 2A groups with all the “influence” they claim to have?
Their email only references suppressors, even though they do deal in SBR’s as well. But given how lousy the economy is, and the high cost of ammo, just how much of a rush will there be on suppressors in January and the rest of next year?
