The NSSF, the actual “gun lobby”, has a Hall Of Fame, before you glance at the names, consider Codrea’s links, https://waronguns.com/following-a-long-tradition/ and https://www.thefreelibrary.com/Clinton+applauds+gun+makers+at+historical+ceremony.-a020359274
Now look at the names who brown nosed Bill Clinton, and remember that it was Bill Ruger, who came up with the idea for a magazine capacity limit, https://web.archive.org/web/20060616065445/https://www.thegunzone.com/rkba/papabill.html
And with that in mind, who’s in the National Shooting Sports Hall Of Fame? https://www.nssf.org/about-us/halloffame/ Here’s some names that really stood out,
From 2023, Bill Ruger. A grand old 2A champion… NOT.
Also from 2023, Richard A. Lipsey, founder of Lipsey’s, the firearms/sporting goods distributor… More on that below.
From 2022, Alan Mossberg, yes, that MOSSBERG, O.F. Mossberg & Sons, one of the companies who brown nosed Bill Clinton. Grand.
Also, from 2022, Gerald W. “Jerry” Bersett, he was a 30 year he bull over at Olin/Winchester. Retired, and then from 1995-1998, was president and COO of Sturm, Ruger & Co, the Clinton brown nosing party was in 1997… After he left Ruger, he went to work for Blount, one of the many former owners of the Federal Ammo umbrella… Another grand 2A champ, NOT.
From 2024, Don W. Gobel, can you guess who was president and CEO of Browning and Winchester during the Clinton brown nosing party? Yup, this guy, according NSSF, Gobel led NSSF’s board during some of the firearm industry’s most contentious legislative fights in the final years of Bill Clinton’s two-term presidency. Which you’ll know it total bullshit, if you read the article Codrea linked to. And here, https://www.deseret.com/1999/1/28/19421220/a-change-in-command-at-browning/ Gobel was THE man in charge of Browning/Winchester for it.
Also from 2024, Robert Morrison, former CEO/President of Taurus. Guess how you become best friends with Wayne LaPierre? Throw in some NRA membership coupons in the boxes with your guns, https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/story/1335517417gahuzc9cews
From 2025, Dick Hammett, a former he bull over at Olin/Winchester. Remember, who runs the US Army’s Lake City Munitions Plant? Olin/Winchester.

Notice anything interesting about the names and who they represent?
The NSSF’s current co-vice chairman is the president of Olin (Winchester). The current secretary is the president and CEO of Sturm, Ruger & Co. Also on the list of NSSF’s leaders, is the CEO of Browning (So he works for FN). The president and CEO of Lipsey’s. The executive vice president and COO of O.F. Mossberg & Sons. The president and CEO of Leupold & Stevens Inc, which many in the NSSF’s hall of fame have worked for… Then there’s the president and CEO of Vista Outdoor (Federal) which is now the The Kinetic Group, owned by a Czech firm.
The NSSF doesn’t “keep it in the family”, but they certainly seem to keep it within the same group of corporations. Lots of them, even ones I didn’t mention have worked for Browning, Olin, Leupold & Stevens, many worked for Blount, the precursor to Vista and now The Kinetic Group (Federal and the associated ammo brands). Lots and lots led a new era of closer cooperation between the NSSF and National Rifle Association… They keep pushing the NRA. And of course Sturm, Ruger & Co, keeps popping up.
But the NSSF has your back… https://www.nssf.org/,
NSSF leads the way in advocating for the industry and its business and jobs, keeping guns out of the wrong hands, encouraging enjoyment of recreational shooting and hunting and helping people better understand the industry’s lawful products.
The Second Amendment is NOT about “recreational shooting and hunting”. And all arms are “lawful”- remember the “shall not be infringed part”? And what about the ‘m’ word? ‘Militia’, why isn’t that mentioned? Here’s why, the NSSF is just a bunch of elites, who’re prags, and suck asses to the tyrants who want to disarm you.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
