Silencer Central’s founder and CEO Brandon Maddox gives a strange interview here, https://www.ammoland.com/2025/05/silencer-central-ceo-brandon-maddox-joins-gun-talk-radio-to-set-the-record-straight-on-hpa/
At about 4min and 30sec, he says he didn’t know what GOA is… Strange. Does anyone in the gun world, not know what GOA is?
Later when the host asks if they lobbied for HPA, he said they supported it. There’s a big difference between lobbying for a bill and merely supporting it. Maddox said he got a call from his congressman asking what his position was, and he said he told him he supported it. Again, why just support?
He says he’s a pharmacist. How can someone work as a pharmacist, and have time to run a massive corporation, that isn’t pharmaceutical related at all?
These sorts of interviews always annoy me, when the host has to say in the opening, he’s sponsored by the company his guest owns. Objectivity?
All this begs the question, is Maddox “founder/CEO” in name only? Who’s running the company? He sounds way too distanced to be the true founder and CEO.
