Italian gunmaker Beretta has been accused of plotting to gobble up to 50% of America’s biggest firearms maker, Sturm Ruger & Co. — even allegedly threatening to “go to war” in a nasty months-long boardroom brawl,

The only thing going on here is two factions of elites warring with each other. That’s all. And from what I’ve seen from Ruger the past ten or fifteen years, their quality control could probably benefit from new ownership. It can’t get any worse.

This of course the late Bill Ruger essentially devised Bill Clinton’s ‘Assault Weapons Ban’. As you’ll see there, SAAMI, NSSF and many others shared Ruger’s dim view on 2A.
