Alpha News has a piece on the Woodchuck quitting the 2026 Minnesota governors race, here.
While “conservatives” are having a ball online about this, no one seems to be asking a couple of questions.
For one, what’s the real reason the uniparty didn’t want Tim Walz to have a third term as Minnesota governor? The “conservatives” want to say, fraud, fraud, fraud and blame Dems and Somalians. But does anyone really believe the Minnesota legislature didn’t know the state was being defrauded of billions of dollars for years?
And I don’t see anyone asking about the Second Amendment. Maybe I’ve missed it, but is any GOPer truly pro 2A?
Lisa Demuth, doesn’t appear to be, as I can find no mention of it.
Mike Lindell, doesn’t seem to be either, as again, no mention that I can find.
Kendall Qualls? Same as the two above.
Scott Jensen is anti 2A as we saw from his time in the legislature.
Kristin Robbins, is only focused on fraud and taxes according to her website.
Update,
I was just reminded by someone on X, about Chris Madel. And not only does his website not say anything about 2A, or anything really about his platform, he also has a history of donating to Democrats.
So, who’s pro 2A? Anyone? If they were truly pro 2A, they’d state it clearly on their website. Since they can’t be bothered to mention it on their websites, then how hard do you think they’ll stand up for our 2A rights if elected? They won’t. And of course there’s the other issue of immigration, which they seem to only want to deal with illegals, but why should we allow our political power to become diluted with tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of legal immigrants who don’t share our values? Anyone want another Ilhan Omar?
On a final note, the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus and I had a back and forth. I’m not sure I like this,

Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
