I saw this from David Codrea about ‘V’ model Glock rumors, and it got me thinking. I took a look at Glock’s website, but I couldn’t find mention of a ‘V’ model.
However, have you seen how few guns Glock lists in their “commercial” catalogue? As I write this I count, twenty-five, that’s a far cry from what they used to offer. Further I count two chambered in 10mm, two in .45ACP, two in .40S&W, one in .380ACP and one in .22LR. The other seventeen are 9mm. That’s a massive reduction compared to earlier this year, they’ve cut thirty four models, plus how many different generations of some? Yikes, too many to count.
That all fits though, with the rumors. A company would naturally scale back it’s inventory, so it can devote more factory space to the new product line. It also fits with the recent anti 2A lobbying they’ve done in Oklahoma, and their total lack of presence in California, and Glock’s caving to Bill Clinton, and last but not least, Glock looks at 4473’s-still no response by the way.
Glock has always cared about the only ones and not the Militia. If only I’d known that before I bought mine.
Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
