Yesterday, 10/13/25 was Columbus Day. Don’t worry, I’m not going woke. For some reason the date stamp on WordPress is about six hours ahead, so much of what I post is stamped a day ahead. And yesterday I got caught up with errands and things. Now, I’m a day behind with this message. Happy belated Columbus Day.
Never forget OUR history, and never let THEM delete it.
As a side note, Henry Hudson’s also an interesting explorer to read about… Hudson River and Hudson Bay were named after him.
