Can NRA Organize In VA?

I’m skeptical. It’s just anecdotal, but it seems too many gun owners think everything’s fine because Trump’s in the White House and the GOP has the US House and US Senate. They don’t seem to pay attention to state and local races.

I’m also skeptical about the NRA wanting to get serious and move in the activist/organizing arena. This would be a great opportunity. As Codrea notes, this is an odd year, so NRA has plenty of man power and can’t use for an excuse, “There’s elections in all 50 states!”.

And I would love to be proven wrong, on both counts. I’d love to see VA gun owners prove me wrong. I’d love to see the NRA prove me wrong. Especially since I live in occupied territory… Minnesota. Our elections are next year. So it’ll be very interesting to see how Virginia and NRA handle this.

Equip, train, pray and never disarm.
